The multi position metal mattress support system lets parents drop the mattress height down as baby grows for safety. For superior mattress support, the Continental uses a sturdy metal mattress spring support system.

The single dropside can be lowered with a simple foot/knee release mechanism. This crib can be moved easily with the plastic and metal rolling casters with locks. The rails of the Continental crib are covered with plastic teething rails.
