Rated for children from 40 to 100 pounds, whose height is between 43 and 60 inches. High tech wrap-around design like a modern racing seat, makes this Britax booster "awesome." The reinforced headrest is lined with EPS foam to absorb energy in side and rear impacts. The Bodyguard's design cradles the head to keep it away from intruding parts. The Bodyguard's deep ribbed structure adds strength and rigidity to the side wings and backrest while also allowing for thicker than normal EPS energy-absorbing material. A one-hand easy height adjustment mechanism allows for multiple height positions - up to 30" (from inside the base). The width adjuster on the base not only provides a custom fit for your child, but may allow more room for additional seats in back seat of your vehicle. The secure belt loop guide opens for easy threading of the vehicle shoulder belt and locks in place for safety. The built-in recline shelf folds out from the back rest to add more angle for improved sleeping comfort in vehicles with vertical seatbacks. The Bodyguard is the only booster with built-in lock-offs on the base and a mating backrest-base configuration designed to connect the restraint to the vehicle belts and avoid inertia loading on the child.
